Clients with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

It is important when we first encounter and assess clients, either in the private or public setting, to recognise a person who is suffering a borderline personality disorder and, if we choose to continue with them, how we can help them. Here are four videos of varying lengths which help to define a borderline person and offer the chance to recognise the distress that they are in and which they may cause if you are caught unawares.

This UK made documentary film was part of a university graduation project. It describes clearly the symptoms of BPD in a young woman, her emptiness and feelings of not belonging, and her different behaviours. It provides a list of nine symptoms relating to the disease. Watch here…..
