Dr Toyin Okitikpi, PhD, is a qualified social worker and social work academic and was a senior lecturer at Brunel University and head of social work at London South Bank University. He now sits on a number of tribunals, including the MHRT, MOD, CILEx and ET. He is an external PhD examiner for the Tavistock Clinic and University of East London. Toyin is based in Folkestone, Kent

His books and articles include - Understanding Interracial Relationships; The Art of Social Work Practice; Working with Children of Mixed Parentage; Key Concepts in Anti-Discriminatory Practice; The Diversity and Complexities of the Everyday Lives of Mixed Race and Ethnic Families – Implications for Adoption and Fostering Practice and Policy; Made up Trauma – A Crisis of Identity.
