David Gladwell


David Gladwell qualified as a barrister but after 35 years as a lawyer decided on a change of direction, studying for an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling. BACP Accredited, he has been a primary care counsellor with Oxleas NHS Trust since 2008 and for 5 years was an honorary amputee rehabilitation counsellor with Guy’s and St Thomas’. His practice is integrative/eclectic, the needs of the client paramount. Interests are Bowlby’s theory of attachment, and the developing field of post-traumatic growth.
